Cortina

Last Sunday we arrived back from over a week of skiing in Cortina, Italy. I have to say that, since I'm not a big skier, I was originally impartial to the whole trip, but ended up having the best time. I took ski lessons every day with an instructor (even had the lessons in Italian after we discovered that my Italian was probably better than his English), learned a lot in the short time I was there, and decided it's something I really want to keep up. It was such a great atmosphere for a family vacation- the kids and the parents all had a blast. Cortina itself is absolutely amazing. From what I can tell it is the ski-town in Italy. The town has lots of fabulous shops (big names but also small boutiques), and the mountains are the most beautiful that I've ever seen. Since I was skiing every morning and on the slopes all day, I was awful about taking pictures! Here are the few that I have on my camera. Shana has a lot more that I will try to get from her and post soon!
The only picture I have of myself, that Liv took without me realizing. Proof that I was there!
Around Cortina.
