Already lost...

I just got back home after taking Liv to school with Shana. Shana had to go straight to the dentist, so I took the bus back by myself, and of course got lost in the train station for about 15 minutes without a map or phone, but finally found the right way out! Their house is right by the train station, so they usually take the bus into the center of town or to school (which is the opposite direction). Liv's school is precious- very small, but seems very nice. Yesterday, Shana told me to sleep in and I ended up sleeping until 11:30. The rest of the day I played with Liv some and then walked around the center of town with Liv and Shana. It was nice to see that area...near the Pantheon, but all of the streets are very quaint with lots of cute shops and bakeries. We came home and ate dinner, and I went to bed basically when Liv did- still adjusting to the time change. I met Tommaso two nights ago and ate dinner with him and Shana. He is very nice and I was glad to finally meet him. I cannot believe I still have not met Jasper, but he will be back tomorrow from sailing camp. I have a lot of today free since Liv is at school, and I believe she's going to play with a friend after. I am going to take a shower now, because it is sweltering in my room. I haven't figured out if the air conditioning is off or if it just does not reach my room, but I am having a hard time adjusting to sleeping in this temperature! As Liv says, I'm boiling! I have my windows open now which creates a little breeze, so hopefully that will help.

It has been nice to have the last few days with just Liv to get to know her. Shana says she is the more shy one of the two, but I feel like she has warmed up to me for the most part. She has already discovered the camera on my phone and is always wanting to take pictures. She took this one of the two of us. Her hair is a mess but she is the cutest thing!
